WEO (CSTF 1325) with the support of FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) will held a meeting to train the staff Alliance’s members in Erbil for 2 days, the 7th and 8th of October 2016. The purpose of the training is to collect and present data on gender-based violence in IDP camps using the Gender-Based Violence Management Information System (GBVMIS) developed by the international NGO International Rescue Committee (IRC). GBVMIS is an initiative that enables actors responding to incidents of GBV to effectively and safely collect, store, analyse and share data reported by GBV survivors.

WEO (CSTF 1325 Coordinator) with the Support of UK Embassy will Conduct a three-day ToT training for trainers to provide specific trainings to security and law enforcement staff on the implementation of UNSCR 1325 and subsequent Security Council resolutions 1820 and 1960, for 12 government staff from Baghdad and KRG , by International Trainer (Ms. Marion Boeker) (Trainer/Consultancy of Human Rights and Gender Issues).
