On Thursday 30/03/2017, the coordination team of the Cross Sector Task Force (CSTF) in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Relations (DFR) conducted a national Seminar in Erbil on Iraqi NAP 1325.

To enhance women participation and representation in Local governments in Sinjar district. Women Empowerment organization held a conference under the title of supporting a campaign to enhance the contribution of woman and representation in local government in the Sinjar district.
A workshop was organized by WEO with the support of UN Women on UNSCR 1325 regarding women, peace, and security. The workshop took place on 26th February, 2017 at Nobel Hotel, and was attended by judicial investigators and police
Democratic Women Organization, a member of Alliance 1325, held a workshop on 11/02/2017 with the support of the British Embassy to raise awareness on INAP (women, peace, and security). The aim of the workshop was to explain the objectives of the National Action Plan for the implementation of resolution 1325 and the emergency plan.
On Wednesday 18-1-2017 Ministry of Interior-Baghdad held a workshop under the title of “Implementation of National Action Plan I-NAP 1325, in cooperation with Alliance 1325 and support from UK embassy. “The workshop was held by the Representative of ministry of interior to present the 1325 Alliance team of MOI-Baghdad and the Implementation of National Action Plan I-NAP 1325 In Baghdad and Iraqi Governorates.
On the 15th of Jan 2017, WEO arranged a field study trip to the Netherlands, The Hague for the Iraqi 1325 Cross Sector Task Force (CSTF) members which included senior representatives from Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) and Iraqi government as well as representatives from 1325 Alliance in Iraq and the CSOs.
